Our story
From early on in his career, our founder Tommy Smith took an interest in the environment. Growing up in the mountains of North Carolina Tommy was a huge proponent of preservation and conservation, and part of that is the water that flows all around us.
Starting in 2011, as SCA construction was born after noticing a huge gap in the market for companies solving the problem of stormwater management. Using a long history of entrepreneurial spirit and conservation knowledge, our company started offering storm water solutions that made sense for communities, homeowners, and municipalities alike
Since then, SCA has tackled a wide variety of problems ranging from 30 foot tall class one dams all the way back to our roots installing 4 inch guttered to curb drainage in residential applications. No matter the issue or customer need, we can help get it taken care of.
