Atlanta's Aging Infrastructure

Restoration

Our restoration division is one of the most dynamic groups on our team. In many of our cases, where systems have been let go, and major failure occurs, it is necessary for a pond to be restored to original capacity, or possibly beyond. This could be from a variety of issues both controllable and uncontrollable. No matter the issue, our team can get things back in order. Check out some of our case studies for several examples of how we get it done, and what we have faced in the past.

03

Maintenance

Stormwater maintenance can be forgotten, and also the reason for not being able to open the doors on monday. These systems are in the corner, underground, and oftentimes out of site in residential and commercial areas.

Following neglect, it’s common for this critical piece of infrastructure to become a hazard from debris build up, leaks, and exploited weak points. No matter the system, SCA offers a custom program to ensure your facility is within compliance.

04

Inspections / Consulting

Every day, our training professionals are on site making sure our clients know what they have on their hands. In an event where physical performance of our crews isn’t yet necessary, we are happy to provide a report with a professional opinion.

SYSTEMS WE MAINTAIN:

  • Drop inlets

  • Grate systems

  • Infiltration trenches

  • Detention/retention ponds

  • Inlets/outlets

  • Drainage channels/swales

  • Storm water pipes

  • Bioretention cells

Failed Infrastructure

in Atlanta

There's an urgent issue to be addressed...

Atlanta's infrastructure is aging rapidly. While there have been some improvements over the course of time, the vast majority has remained underground and untouched. In recent times, this has started to cause predictably compromised systems. See our timeline of aging infrastructure below.
